Public Hearing and Action on Ordinance 23-014, an Ordinance to Change the Zoning Within the City of Brookings (Cree Village Indian Hills Addition).

Summary:

Minor Investments has submitted petitions to rezone Lot 2 Cree Village Indian Hills Addition, and Outlots 7A, 7, and 8, excluding Lot H1 and H2 in Lot 8, in the City of Brookings from Business B-3 Heavy District and RB-4 Neighborhood Business District to Planned Development District with Business B-2 District underlying.  The request would rezone roughly 3.39 acres into a Planned Development District.

 

Area described as: 

•                     Lot 2 Cree Village Indian Hills Addition from Business B-3 Heavy District to Planned Development District with Business B-2 District underlying zoning; and

•                     Outlots 7A, 7, and 8, excluding Lot H1 and H2 in Lot 8, City of Brookings, from RB-4 Neighborhood Business District to Planned Development District with Business B-2 District underlying zoning.

 

Recommendation

Recommendation:

Staff and the Development Review Team recommend approval.  The Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval.
