Summary:
The proposed resolution will tentatively award the Airport Pavement Maintenance / Rehabilitation Project to Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, for the low bid of $156,757.00, pending receipt of an FAA grant offer. The bid is 36% lower than the Engineer’s Estimate of $246,762.00. The project is scheduled for this construction season and will be completed by August, 2023. The proposed resolution also authorizes the City Manager to execute the FAA Grant Offer, Grant Agreement, and all necessary contract documents.
