The proposed Resolution will authorize the City to contract with RDO Equipment Company of Sioux Falls, SD (RDO) for the purchase of a 2023 John Deere 624P Articulating Wheeled Loader with Wing and Plow.
The City of Brookings Public Works - Street Division solicited and received a quote for a 2023 John Deere 624P Articulating Wheeled Loader with Wing and Plow from RDO through a Minnesota State Bidding Authority, called Admin Minnesota. RDO is listed as a qualified low bidder for Articulating Wheel Loaders and related accessories. Admin Minnesota is local unit of government in Minnesota, which qualifies as a Joint Cooperative Purchasing Agency. The purchase price of the Wheeled Loader is $339,823.25. Sufficient appropriations, in the amount of $360,000, are available in the 2023 amended budget under the Capital Improvement Fund #213.
