Summary:
The City held a bid letting on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 for the 2021-06STI Chip Seal Project. The following three (3) bids were submitted:
TopKote Inc.: $290,129.40
Bituminous Paving Inc.: $318,841.00
The Road Guy Construction Co.: $346,291.00
The low bid from TopKote Inc. was approximately 9% lower than the Engineer’s Estimate of $319,009.00 and is within the budgeted amount. This resolution will award the chip seal project to TopKote, Inc. for the low bid amount of $290,129.40.
