Summary:

This resolution will award the bid for Landfill Farmland rent in the amount of $227.00 per acres to James Meyer.    

Background:

Brookings Regional Landfill has 120 acres of farmland located on the north side of the landfill.  The land lease is up on December 31, 2020. The land was last bid in 2016. 

The lease will be for a period of (5) five years, commencing on January 1, 2021 and ending on December 31, 2025. Annual rent payment will be due on April 1^st of each year.
