Summary:
Discussion on Historic Preservation Awards. In the past, this has been part of the Mayors Awards, however, due to COVID-19, the Mayors Awards have been cancelled. At the August BHPC meeting, it was requested that staff compile a list of projects for the commission to review. The project list is a combination of projects reviewed in 2019 and 2020 with the larger projects being completed in 2020.
The criteria for evaluating projects is included in the Mayors Award Nomination Form. A press release was issued by the City seeking nominations as well as utilizing various social media platforms in an attempt to generate additional interest. The City did not receive any nominations from the public.
