Discussion on Historic Preservation Plan Update

Summary:
The Brookings Historic Preservation Commission was awarded $20,000 for the CLG Grant 2020-2021. A total of $16,550 is for the completion of the Historic Preservation Plan update, which includes Phases 2 & 3. The City is committed to funding the remainder of the Preservation Plan and would like to begin Phases 2 & 3 this fall. Winter & Company has used a variety of online formats for successful public participation. Staff would like to discuss the process to proceed forward with the Preservation Plan and has requested a new contract from Winter & Company.
