Summary:
General discussion on location of campgrounds/RV parks.
Background:
Inquiries are received from property owners requesting the potential of their property. A property owner has inquired about the potential of adding RV hookups at an existing business location. Currently, the Zoning Ordinance identifies Campgrounds/RV Parks as a permitted special use in the Floodway District and a conditional use in the Agricultural District. Mobile home/Manufactured housing parks are allowed to have recreational vehicles within the park provided they are located on an existing lot within the mobile home/manufactured housing park.
