Summary:
A statistical review of 2019 hotel occupancy, revenues, and expenses.
Background:
The Business Improvement District #1 is a $2.00 per occupied room per day fee applied to all hotels consisting of 25 or more hotel rooms in the City of Brookings. Hotels submit monthly reports to the City and the data is compiled and summarized for tracking purposes. The revenues collected are utilized by the Convention & Visitors Bureau to assist in the retention and expansion of the visitor industry.
