Update on the April 14^th Combined Municipal / School Board Election postponement.

Summary:

The State Legislature passed HB 1298 on Veto Day.  This act provides the postponement of elections.  The April 14^th Combined Municipal / School Board Election will have to be postponed based on this legislation to “any Tuesday in June.”

The recommended alternate election date is Tuesday, June 23^rd.  Staff will share with the City Council and the public why this date was selected, proposed election process and clarity of common questions asked.
