Summary:
The City held a bid letting on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 for the 2020-06STI, Chip Seal Project and four (4) bids were submitted. Topkote, Inc. from Yankton submitted the low bid of $208,177.80, which was approximately 21% lower than the Engineer’s Estimate of $264,000.00. Staff will examine the street list and may want to include additional as the budget allows. This resolution will award the Chip Seal Project to Topkote, Inc. for the low bid amount of $208,177.80.
