Summary:

Pursuant to SDCL 9-12-6 “Designation of official newspapers,” each municipality shall designate at a meeting of its governing body an official newspaper or newspapers for a period of time, not to be less than twelve months, specified by the governing body in a resolution.  The newspaper shall be published in the municipality.
