Summary and Recommended Action:
At the December 16, 2025 County Commission Meeting, the Brookings County Commission assigned $15,000 in the 2025 budget to move to the 2026 budget to bring the funding for the Brookings Public Library back to $25,000.
Recommendation: rescind the implementation of a $25 fee for adult county cards beginning January 1, 2026
