Summary:

The City intends to lease City-owned land located at 217 4th Street.  This site is the previous location for the Brookings Food Pantry, which was demolished in 2023. 

 

The term of the proposed lease runs from April 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025 and may be extended for an additional two (2) months.  There is no consideration or rent associated with this proposed lease, as the Ivy Center’s construction of building improvements to provide essential services in the City and covenants in connection with the proposed lease, constitute sufficient consideration.
