Summary and Recommended Action:
To ensure safety and regulations on sidewalks, shared-use trails, and public pathways staff is proposing changes to the City’s Code of Ordinances. This presentation will give an overview of these changes specifically for electric bikes and scooters. The code changes impact where and how systems are used, what is allowable, and enforcement. The proposed changes have been reviewed by the bike subcommittee, parks, and legal.
