The proposed resolution will award the Airport Parallel Taxiway Construction Project (Project) to Bowes Construction Inc, Brookings, SD, for the low bid of $884,234.25, contingent on receipt of FAA grant funding. The bid is 47% lower than the Engineer’s Estimate of $1,683,539.25. The project is scheduled to begin Fall of 2024 and has an anticipated final completion date of September 2025. The proposed resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute all grant documents and associated contracts necessary to complete the Project.
