Summary:
The proposed Resolution will authorize the City Manager to sign and submit the Department of Transportation $200,000 funding agreement for a Transportation Planning Study. The State will fund eighty percent (80%) of the project and require a twenty percent (20%) local match from the City. This planning study will review City standards for arterial and collector roads, forecast traffic throughout the City, identify existing and future issues, and make the City eligible for future federal grants.
