Summary and Recommended Action:
The City of Brookings is proposing amendments to Article VI, Division 3, Section 94-407 - Adjustment to front yard requirements. The proposed change includes the allowance of an average front yard setback to be applied for additions and new construction. The changes do not apply to garages or within the required intersection and driveway safety zone. Staff would like the Planning Commission to discuss the proposal prior to bringing the item to a public hearing as an ordinance revision.
