Summary:
This resolution will authorize the City of Brookings to receive Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block 2 in the Nelson 5th Addition from CD Properties for the purpose of a detention pond and lift station.
Background:
The City Engineering and Brookings Municipal Utility staff worked with CD Properties, LLC, developers of the Reserve Addition, regarding the donation of Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block 2 in Nelson 5th Addition to the City of Brookings. The developer platted Lot 1 and 2, Block 2, for the purposes of a detention pond adjoining the City’s detention pond and for a sanitary sewer lift station. The developer met the requirements of the City and BMU regarding the work and staff is agreeable to the acceptance of the lots.
Fiscal Impact:
There will be costs for mowing and BMU will incur costs to maintain the lift station.
