Summary and Recommended Action:
Staff recommends approval of this budget amendment to increase the BID (Pillow) Tax Fund budget by $130,000 to support one-time transition costs associated with the City’s exit from the current venue management agreement at the Dacotah Bank Center at the end of 2026.
Approximately $90,000 of additional transition costs will be funded from existing 3B Tax Fund budget authority that is not anticipated to be expended during 2026, resulting in approximately $220,000 of total available funding for the transition.
