Summary and Recommended Action:
The proposed resolution will award the Brookings Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building Project (Project) to Lloyd Construction Company, Sioux Falls SD, for the low bid of $656,036.02, contingent on receipt of FAA grant funding. The bid is 13% lower than the Engineer’s Estimate of $741,679.00. The project is scheduled to begin Fall of 2026 and has an anticipated final completion date of May 2027. The proposed resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute all grant documents and associated contracts necessary to complete the Project. Staff recommends approval.
