Summary:
Approval of the proposed resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to an agreement (Amendment), extending the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) agreement (FBO Agreement) with Pheasants Fury Aviation, LLC. for a period of five (5) years.
Background:
In 2018 the City of Brookings executed an FBO Agreement with Pheasants Fury Aviation, LLC to operate an FBO at the Brookings Regional Airport. The Agreement included language expressly allowing the City to extend the Agreement, by written amendment, after the initial five (5) year term. Pheasant’s Fury Aviation, LLC has provided FBO services in accordance with the Agreement and has indicated interest in extending the Agreement for another five (5) year term.

Service and Innovation Excellence - Approval of the proposed resolution will ensure that the Brookings Regional Airport continues to offer the needed FBO services for the next five (5) years.
Financial Consideration:
There are no costs associated with the extension of the FBO Agreement.
