Summary and Recommended Action:
The Mission statement for the Library hasn’t been updated since 1999. A mission statement should accurately define the organization’s guiding principles and unite employees around a common purpose.
A vision statement is a description of the desired future state of the organization.
Staff worked to update the mission statement and create a vision statement
